When talking about E-Ink displays, most people who are familiar with electronic ink products may think of Boox's Mira series and Dasung Technology's Paperlike series. Today I would like to introduce to you a product from the non-mainstream brand Acogedor.
Acogedor is a Chinese company that has its own flagship store on Amazon in the United States, which sells a variety of electronic products, including the E-Ink monitor introduced this time, which will be launched in 2023. They offer the following three sizes: 9.7 inches, 10.3 inches and 13.3 inches, but they are quite rare. The 9.7-inch model with a display ratio of 16:11 has been discontinued, leaving only the latter two.
The Acogedor portable 10.3-inch E-Ink display has a screen resolution of 1872x1404, 227PPI, and supports 50mm VESA installation; the 13.3-inch E-Ink display has a screen resolution of 1600x1200, 150PPI, and supports 75mm VESA installation. The display ratio of both is 4:3, and both screens have anti-dark tempered glass. They boast that their products are easy to connect. They come with Type-C and HDMI plugs, and with the included HDMI adapter, they can connect to iOS, Android and Windows products.
The Acogedor E-Ink monitor provides a 15Hz refresh rate, three display modes to choose from: GC16, A2 and A2+, as well as 5 speeds and 9 levels of contrast adjustment.
The included protective case allows users to use this 9mm-thick E-Ink monitor with an aluminum metal body horizontally, and there are three angles that can be adjusted.
