Rakuten Kobo announced on November 1 that they will expand the e-reader market in India and launch Kobo Clara 2E, Kobo Libra 2 and Kobo Nia locally. These readers are ergonomically designed and incorporate the latest technology to provide a superior digital reading experience.
All Kobo readers are equipped with Bluetooth® wireless technology, allowing users to read e-books or listen to audio books. In addition, through the Kobo library, users can browse and purchase millions of e-books and audiobooks. The products are already on sale on Flipkart and other online platforms.
Rakuten Kobo CEO Michael Tamblyn said the company is excited to bring its reader to the Indian market. He also mentioned that Kobo is committed to environmental protection and uses recycled materials in some products.
